RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
We utilize the decades of research on TRP channels by Prof. Turini to develop selective therapies for specific pathologies and optimize the absorption of molecules. Additionally, we take advantage of the non-pharmaceutical nature of our products to provide a lower risk profile and fewer contraindications for patients. We also innovate in our utilization of active ingredients to stay ahead of the competition.
TRANSIENT RECEPTOR POTENTIAL (TRP)
The discovery of TRPs in Drosophila melanogaster led to the identification of the first mammalian TRP channels, which function as sensors for various stimuli. These channels have potential as therapeutic targets for physiological and pathological processes, and research has identified 28 different isoforms subdivided into six subfamilies. One of the most significant receptors is TRPV1, a vanilloid family member targeted with capsaicin to desensitize and block neurogenic inflammation, improving multiple disorders.
